"Teachings and Miracles" is the middle volume in the three-part set for Catholic Christian children entitled "The Light of the World." "The Light of the World" tells the story of Jesus and the early days of the Church in reverent picture-strip and words, according to the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles. It also gives the teaching of "The Catechism of the Catholic Church" in a simplified form and in language suitable for children aged between nine and thirteen. (However, even adults have found it useful.) These volumes all carry an Imprimatur and also a Statement of Conformity with the Catechism of the Catholic Church, issued by the U. S. Bishops Ad Hoc Committee to Oversee the Use of the Catechism.
